ID is Required

  •  At registration, ALL athletes are required to show photo ID.  Every single participant must have a photo ID, this includes all relay participants. Youth athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID.

Check-in

  • Athletes may only check-in for themselves. Under no circumstances may an athlete check-in for another person.
  • If an athlete does not bring a photo ID to packet pickup they have two options:
    • Find it
    • Have someone fax them a copy of their photo ID

    • If onsite registration is available, participants will need to purchase a one-day USAT license online.

Donner Pass Road Closed:

  • Donner Pass Road from South Shore Drive to the snow gate near the summit.
    • Closed Sunday, July 27, from 7 AM to 12:30 PM

Donner Pass Road Intermittent Traffic Control:

  • Donner Pass Road from South Shore Drive to near the Donner Memorial State Park entrance will host the Sprint bike stage from 7 to approximately 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 26
    • Please use caution. Vehicle traffic will be intermittently controlled to allow cyclists to turn around, exit, and enter the West End Beach facility.

South Shore Drive:

  • The Sprint and run and the Kids Bike stage from 7:30 to 11:00 AM intermittently on Saturday, July 26
  • The Olympic run from 7:30 AM to approximately 1:30 PM intermittently on Sunday, July 27
    • Please use caution while traveling on South Shore Drive during these times

Wave Start Times and Swim Cap Colors:

Cut-Off Times for the Half-Distance 70.3 Events

  • Swim: 8:10 AM: 1 hour and 10 minutes after the final HALF swim wave start.
  • Run out of T2: 12:30 PM, 5 hours and 30 minutes after the final HALF swim wave start.
  • Run out of 2nd Lap: 1:30 PM 7 hours and 30 minutes after the final Half swim wave start.
  • The race will officially end 8 hours and 30 minutes after the final HALF swim wave start at 3:30 PM
